Gran Eye Practice Game "Pirates"

Most of the games are easy enough to figure out simply by playing them so I will concentrate on the ones with the more confusing directions first.

Pirates (Normal)

Up to 8 people

The information screen for this game is accessed by clicking on the icon in the corner which looks like a lowercase i in a circle.

The only darts that score in this game are bullseyes (green outer bulleye) and double bullseyes (red center bullseye). Any dart that lands in an area besides the center is counted as a miss.

The green bulls count as 25 points and the red bulls count as 50.

When the game starts, a pirate ship sails into view and parks (moors?, Docks?) itself in the center of the screen. A red crosshair appears on the ship when the game has finished loading.

This is just a visual to show when you have scored. You cannot move the crosshairs or the ship.

As you throw for bulleyes, the screen will show either a cannonball miss (if you miss the bull) or an explosion on the ship which results in damage (if you hit a bull or double bull.

There are 3 ships (one at a time) and it takes 200 points to sink each ship. You get 12 turns of three darts to sink as many ships as you can. If you sink all 3 ships you get a chance at the treasure chest. You continue to throw bulls and the treasure chest multiplies your score depending on how many bulls you score and how fast you sunk the ships.

Don't feel bad if you don't beat this game. Scoring 24 bulls using 36 darts is pretty close to pro level play. I suggest you play the kids level until you get the hang of it.

Pirates (Kids level)

You can set the difficulty leve to "kid's level" by accessing the game settings button on the main screen.

The kid's level seems to play just like the standard level except the single bull is extended to the inside wire of the trebles.

This means any dart landing in the area inside the trebles ring (but outside the doubke bull) will be counted as a single bull for 25 points.

Any dart landing inside the trebles ring or further out will be scored as a miss.

Double bulls are still scored as 50 points.

Pirates (Master level)

As I said, the information screen for this game is accessed by clicking on the icon in the corner which looks like a lowercase i in a circle.

There is no mention of master level though.

This game will only accept double bulls for scoring. Anything outside the double bull is counted as a miss.

I would guess this plays the same as the other two versions but I have not gotten far enough in this one to know for sure though.
